I have on the way... through a trade...

Everwood: The Complete First Season
| Year: 2002 | 1022 Min.| IMDb | Trailer/Intro

As a world-class neurosurgeon, Dr. Andrew Brown is a hero. As a father, he's a zero. But that is changing. Tragedy makes him a single parent to his two children. And as the first act of his new life, Andy leaves Manhattan and moves his family to Everwood, the tiny Colorado town where big dreams can grow.

The relationship between Andy and his talented but resentful 15-year-old son Ephram forms the heart of these 23 first-season episodes of Everwood, the acclaimed, richly layered series created by Greg Berlanti. Treat Williams plays Andy, learning parenting on the fly as he raises Ephram (Gregory Smith) and 9-year-old Delia (Vivien Cardone). Unafraid to tackle big issues, spiked with sharp humor and filled with engaging characters, Everwood is a place and a series that rewards each visit you make.

I really enjoyed 'The Hunger Games' ... pretty close to the book with some small liberties.  If you get a chance read the trilogy to get added flavor.  Looking forward to the next film
Thank you

Now THAT is a pretty good receipt.  Great set of Marilyn films and I really liked the first 2 seasons of Everwood ... until it turned into an angst fest :)

I think The Magician was the first thing I ever saw Max von Sydow in ... or maybe it was The Greatest Story Ever Told.  But either way I tried to see things with him in it after that.  I do remember that when I saw The Seventh Seal I walked out of the theater ... dumb struck.  Not sure what I had just seen but thinking I had had seveal Soren Kierkegaard books thrust into my brain at one time .. oh my what an experience :)
Thank you

The Crazies
| Year: 2010 | 101 Min.| IMDb | Trailer/Intro

In this terrifying glimpse into the "American Dream" gone wrong, an unexplainable phenomenon has taken over the citizens of Ogden Marsh. One by one the townsfolk are falling victim to an unknown toxin and are turning sadistically violent. People who days ago lived quiet, unremarkable lives are now depraved, bloodthirsty killers.

While Sheriff Dutton (Timothy Olyphant) and his pregnant wife, Judy (Radha Mitchell), try to make sense of the escalating violence, the government uses deadly force to close off all access and won’t let anyone in or out – even those uninfected. An ordinary night becomes a horrifying struggle for the few remaining survivors as they do their best to get out of town alive.

Breck Eisner (Sahara) directs this suspenseful reinvention of the George A. Romero classic.

Let Me In
| Year: 2010 | 116 Min.| IMDb | Trailer/Intro

From Matt Reeves – the director of Cloverfield – comes the new vampire classic that critics are calling "chillingly real" (Scott Bowles, USA Today), "one of the best horror films of the year" (Cinematical) and "a haunting, touching and unforgettable thriller" (Pete Hammond, Boxoffice Magazine). In bleak New Mexico, a lonely, bullied boy, Owen (Kodi Smit-McPhee of The Road), forms a unique bond with his mysterious new neighbor, Abby (Chloë Grace Moretz of Kick-Ass), who moves from town to town with the man who appears to be her father (Oscar® Nominee Richard Jenkins of The Visitor). Trapped in the mind and body of a child, however, Abby is forced to hide a horrific secret of bloodthirsty survival. But in a world of tenderness and terror, how can you invite in the one friend who may unleash the ultimate nightmare?

Based on the Swedish novel, Let the Right One In, "Let Me In is a dark and violent love story, a beautiful piece of cinema and a respectful rendering of my novel for which I am grateful." (John Ajvide Lindqvist, author)

Jennifer's Body
| Year: 2009 | 107 Min.| IMDb | Trailer/Intro

Sexy temptress Megan Fox is hotter than hell as Jennifer, a gorgeous, seductive cheerleader who takes evil to a whole new level after she's possessed by a sinister demon. Steamy action and gore galore ensue as the male student body succumbs to Jennifer's insatiable appetite for human flesh. Now it's up to her best friend (Amanda Seyfried) to stop Jennifer's reign of terror before it's too late!

Have you seen the original Let the Right One In, which "Let Me In" is a remake of?  I don't usually like remakes that much but "Let Me In" does a pretty good job keeping the *flavor* of the original (and book ... which was great).  If you haven't seen "Let the Right One In" yet see it afterwards ... i would be very interested in your thoughts on both.  I ran into the book sevearl years ago while in Europe and loved it and the original and like I said even the remake.
Thank you
