I haven't had a chance to get to many movies lately..but I did pick up these.

Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle
Straitlaced, hard-working Harold (John Cho, the American Pie movies) and his roommate, the rebellious, party-loving Kumar (Kal Penn, National Lampoon's Van Wilder) have only one thing in common - a serious case of the munchies. As they set out on a quest to satisfy their craving, Harold and Kumar's simple road trip turns into a hilarious all-night adventure filled with outrageous obstacles, dangerous detours and wildly twisted characters!

With a hysterically funny supporting cast including Neil Patrick Harris and Fred Willard, Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle will take you on a rollercoaster comedy ride.

Horrible Bosses
For Nick (Jason Bateman), Kurt (Jason Sudeikis) and Dale (Charlie Day), the only thing that would make the daily grind more tolerable would be to grind their intolerable bosses into dust. Quitting is not an option, so, with the benefit of a few too many drinks and some dubious advice from a hustling ex-con, the three friends devise a convoluted and seemingly foolproof plan to rid themselves of their respective employers...permanently. There's only one problem: even the best-laid plans are only as foolproof as the brains behind them.

I bought it based on your review... It sounded strange, but in a way I might like.

It was not easy to get, as Amaon doesn't ship themselves and the actual seller didn't ship to Taiwan. But now I am in Germany for a week so I used the opportunity.

Forgot to mention this in my earlier post. It was repeatedly mentioned by Mar Kemode, as possibly Colin Firth's best performance as well as a fine horror film.

Even Kermode is wrong every now and again. It is a while since I've seen it but I remember the performances being mediocre and the film nothing great. Looking at my log, I saw it last in 2005, and gave it 2.5/5.

I mention him a lot, but I don't always agree with or trust him. His reviews are decidedly subjective and I have learned to judge how to level them against my taste.

Well, if you gave it a 2.5 then it is "only" mediocre, not really bad yet. I'll throttle expectations accordingly.

Exactly. I appreciate his method, but I don't always agree with his conclusions. I even disagreed with him on air!  :P
