Had to go out today... so stopped by Big Lots to see what I could get cheap... ended up with...

Secret Diary of a Call Girl: Season One
Billie Piper stars in the hit series SECRET DIARY OF A CALL GIRL, based on the real-life adventures of a high-class London escort. By day she's quiet and unassuming Hannah. But when night comes, she tuens into Belle, the city's wildest—and most wildly sucessful—courtesan. Juggling her own reality with her clients' fantasies can be difficult, but this savvy sweetheart knows every trick in the book for doing it in style. Take a peek into SECRET DIARY OF A CALL GIRL, the witty and provocative original series from Showtime. It's a good time you won't soon forget.

Anyone know if this series is any good?
Pete

Anyone know if this series is any good?

It's with Billie Biper, the Companion of the Ninth Doctor and the first Companion of the Tenth Doctor. I can't be that bad. ;)

"Season" one? Actually, that will be "series" one! :tease: It's a UK series, Pete, so don't be surprised if it's short. I can't remember how many episodes there were.

It aired on Showtime here in the US... I just never got the chance to see it. But since it aired here in the US as well I imagine that is why they put it as Season instead of Series. Looking at the episode guide insert season 1 is only 8 episodes.

Yeah, that's a typical drama for us. It was based on a book too, and IIRC, a true one at that, so that suits a short run too.

That is OK... as long as it is good I will be happy. Looking at the running time... looks to be a half hour show. Just over 3 hrs. for 8 episodes. But it will probably make me to want to get the following seasons as well. Looking at THIS SITE It lasted 4 seasons.
