The Comancheros on Blu-ray arrived today.  I pre-ordered 4 Duke Blu's for May and they're arriving one at a time.  The one thing I dislike about this release is the case is slightly taller and slightly wider than regular Blu-ray cases.  It's even a tiny bit wider than standard DVD cases.  It has some nice extras...

Audio commentary by Stuart Whitman, Nehemiah Persoff, Michael Ansara and Patrick Wayne
The Comancheros and the Battle for the American Southwest
The Duke at Fox: Two-Part Documentary
Vintage Comancheros Comic Book Gallery
A Conversation with Stuart Whitman (audio only)
Fox Movietonenews: Claude King and Tillman Franks Receive Award for The Comancheros
Theatrical Trailers
24-page Collectible Book Packaging

The book (or booklet) features lots of black & white photos and good write-ups.  The booklet is bound within the package so you'd destroy the holder if you tried to remove the booklet.  It also includes two small reproductions of Comancheros movie posters but on very thin paper so I don't see them lasting for very long.

This gives me 5 Duke Blu-rays (not counting How The West Was Won which Duke is in for all of about 30 seconds) with two more on the way.

Received this morning

From Amazon Canada

From Diabolik DVD

Sebastien let me know if you want it. One of the dvd didn't work on my computer, so one profile is manual (you will be able to get the disc id when you'll get yours). Also the top of my cover is torn because of the fricking security sticker

Received today:

Smallville: Season 8
There's a new reporter at the DAILY PLANET: CLARK KENT, who shares a workspace with LOIS LANE. There's a new hero in METROPOLIS, too. No one knows who he is. But JIMMY OLSEN was on the scene of one of the do-gooder's exploits, and he snapped a blurred photo of the hero in superspeed action — a hero everyone now calls the Red-Blue Blur.

Red-jacketed, blue-shirted Clark Kent draws closer to his SUPERMAN destiny in the exciting 22-episode, 6-disc Season 8 of Smallville . Another KRYPTONIAN destiny also takes shape. DAVIS BLOOME begins to realize he is DOOMSDAY. His mission on Earth: kill Clark Kent. So many new events (will Jimmy and Chloe's marriage last?), so many new faces (TESS MERCER, SATURN GIRLand COSMIC BOY among them!), so many state-of-the-art effects — so don't miss a single thrill-packed moment!

Smallville: Season 9
Great planet, Earth is. So great that other survivors of PLANET KRYPTON wouldn't mind making it home and taking control. But fellow KRYPTONIAN CLARK KENT has a warning for ZOD and his followers who cross the line, especially if they seek to enlist LOIS LANE in their schemes: I will destroy you all!
Hearts grow fonder (Clark & Lois) and dangers grow stronger (Clark vs. warriors of Zod) in this 6-disc season 9 collection. Plus, unexpected characters from DC COMICS lore add exciting new layers to the adventures of the man who will become SUPERMAN. Among them: the shape-shifting WONDER TWINS, magical ZANTANNA and in an action-packed Double Episode, JUSTICE SOCIETY OF AMERICA'S DR. FATE, HAWKMAN and STARGIRL. May justice prevail – and Earth survive!

The Mask ($8.93 at AxelMusic)
At this price I couldn't resist double-dipping. Also I think my German DVD release is with forced subtitles anyway.

I would... Even if I was paid 100$ to watch that again I would say no. Almost everything done by Jim Carey annoyed me (even his small part in The Dead Pool at the beginning of his career, but that sure shown what kind of acting was in the future for him).

Of course everybody have his price, so maybe for a couple of thousand bills I could try again...
