I learned to appreciate older movies when I was a teenager, but unfortunately it was during high school so there was some name calling I had to put up with. But fuck them anyway, what did they know?

That Sucks

I was fairly lucky at my school.... i went to an all girls school and well girls can be bitchy but the bullying girls are pretty dumb and it was fairly easy to outwit them. needless to say they left me alone because of that.

Seven - bought with my christmas money!

The Dream Team (Amazon.co.uk)
Ordered after the recent review by Dr. Hasslein because of the cast. Now as I am holding it in my hand I remember, that I have seen this movie years ago on TV.
Heroes: Season Four (Amazon.co.uk)
Completing another series.

Oh, I remember this movie. I've seen it a long time ago on VHS. Very funny indeed! Kind of comedy version from "one flew over the cuckoo's nest". I enjoyed this movie!  :D

Google is your friend.  ;) Certainly mine before any Blu-Ray purchase of an older film that has been subject to a transfer:

Scores 3.5/5 for video quality and the description suggests it is excellent, just prone to "occasional softness", but they also think that is frequently down to the film itself. Definitely worth getting for under £6.

There are several. Beaver has less reviews, but posts huge screen captures. I just Google the title with "blu-ray review" and see what comes up each time.

In fact, I have found the Beaver one too...  ;) Check out the comparison images about halfway down:

Beginning with the mother of modern Bollywood flicks, which probably every Indian knows by heart (it is still running in Indian theatres after 15 years) and which gets referenced a lot in other movies:
Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge

Order placed for the Blu on amazon marketplace

As an aside I just pre-ordered Summer Wars / The Girl Who Leapt Through Time on Blu, technically a double-dip for TGWLTT but that deserves an upgrade and rewatching.

Thanks. I have put "Summer Wars" on my wishlist now. Sounds like a great movie.

Depending on how you enjoy DDLJ, I have some other Bollywood movies to recommend, that I enjoyed.

Irregardless, there is one other movie I want to bring to your attention: Krrish (sadly there doesn't seem to be a Blu). This was the movie which started it all for me. My first Bollywood movie. You should also consider "Koi... Mil Gaya", to which Krrish is the sequel to. But you can enjoy Krrish without seeing it first (I did).
