Receive a gift in my mail this morning from Michael Rasso of Seduction Cinema ;D
Out of curiosity, why you think you received this gift? Have you ordered such mass quantites from them in the past that a gift like this is warranted? Or do you know Michael personally?

Whenever I upgraded a DVD in recent years (to a SE or recently a Blu-ray) I gave away the old copy to friends and colleagues.
I do the same. Heck, once I sent a few to a friend in the US  (Still have many in the cabinet though, waiting to be given away.)

I help him by reporting the illegal posting of the films in their catalogue on Rapidshare. Not something that make a guy popular but when I like a label, I do everything I can to see it succeed...

I own a lot of their released.

Not personally, just the same way we know someone by communicating on the web

Thanks, I guess he recognises that you support him through your reporting of boots. That's mighty fine of him.

Pete I love Land of the Lost! I think its hilarious.

What with this being close to the Holidays... I am not expecting it... but I would love to see my copy of Land of the Lost make it here in time for this weekend's marathon. But if it shows up either today or tomorrow (no mail here in the states on Sundays) I will definitely be watching it.

I think I got a good deal today.  Columbia House Canada has a Holiday special.  "Single DVD's (or Blu-Ray's) at 50% off when buying 2 or more and get a free DVD).

I ordered these at $14.48 CAD except for "The Patriot" which was $12.48 CAD

Unfortunately the Free DVD had to be chosen from a somewhat limited list with no blu-rays, I chose American Gangster Unrated Extended Edition.

When I came back from an 18th in the middle of the night last night I found my Mum has surprised me by leaving two DVD's on my bed.

She got me-
Coraline in blu-ray (my first blu-ray)

This one also came with 4 sets of 3D glasses and can be watched in 2D or 3D mode.

And she also got me a 2 in 1 DVD pack that had.

Haha Brittany yes the buttons were a bit disturbing but overall I just love the film. I loved the whole design of it and especially the dark turn that the story takes. I will probably have a review for it up here soon.

Coraline in blu-ray (my first blu-ray)
Congratulations on your first Blu-ray!

Coraline is a good start, I thought it looked marvelous on Blu. It's a good film, too.
