In Out of the Past, Jeff Bailey (Robert Mitchum) is standing by a running stream contemplating the mess he's gotten himself into with Kathy (Jane Greer). Unbeknownst to him, Joe Stephanos (Paul Valentine) is standing on a ledge above him, about to shoot him. The Kid (Dickie Moore) sees the peril Jeff is in, and uses something unique to snag Joe's coat and pull him off the ledge. Joee falls to his death at the base of a waterfall that feeds the stream Jeff is standing by. What is the unique object that the Kid uses?

Norma Desmond (Gloria Swanson) gives Joe Gillis (William Holden) a solid gold cigarette case.

Inside the case is an inscription: To Joe from Norma, ___ _____ ___ ___!

What are the final words of the inscription?

Looks like my run ends here. I don't have a clue. To me, Sunset Blvd. is a very depressing movie for personal reasons. Whenever I try to watch it, I just can't get into it.

I think that is Charles Bronson.

If I'm right, I'll take original names for 1000 next (if that clue hasn't been chosen yet).
