In Out of the Past, Jeff Bailey (Robert Mitchum) is standing by a running stream contemplating the mess he's gotten himself into with Kathy (Jane Greer). Unbeknownst to him, Joe Stephanos (Paul Valentine) is standing on a ledge above him, about to shoot him. Looks like my run ends here. I don't have a clue. To me, Sunset Blvd. is a very depressing movie for personal reasons. Whenever I try to watch it, I just can't get into it.
