I find myself in the exact opposite to Karsten. My ratio of film to TV is probably 20:1. For the longest time I couldn't place the reason for this wide discrepancy. Then it him me one night when I was watching shows from The Fugitive TV series.

If it were possible for me to load an episode from one show, then another episode from a different show and so on, etc., I probably would be inclined to watch more of my TV collections. You know, kind of like the Warner's Night at the Movies layout on their film DVD's.

But what I find is that if I watch 3, 4 or 5 episodes back to back, I tend to start noticing flaws, cliches and redundant trends in the show, and I lose interest. This really became a problem for me when I started to watch The Fugitive. After the third episode I started to ask my self if the people he was coming in contact with were stupid or criminals at heart too for helping him, knowing what he had been convicted of.

The other way I mentioned would be more like the way I saw them in their original run on television.

I have seen people go to great lengths with mixing up TV shows.  The plot out a normal TV schedule for every day of the week, but use DVDs.  I think it sounds really cool, but that's a lot of disc swapping.  Of course the harder part would be keeping track of where you are on every show you're rotating through during the week.

Some even try to stick to the original scheduling.  So if The Incredible Hulk used to air at 9 on Fridays, they schedule it for 9 on Fridays.

At the moment CoD:MW2 is taking the place of virtually everything else, including eating at the weekends.

Just started playing it online after doing the campaign, now hooked!! Its much more difficult than previous one I am finding, the maps seem a lot larger and health less.
Have you tried pro headquarters on it yet?

I was getting this way until I decided to just have a quick look at Batman...  Still, I completed that a couple of weeks ago and still haven't had the urge to reload CoD. I need more Bat!

I had started CoD before my PS3 crashed, so any progress I had made is lost (not that I was all that far, I think I had just that part in with the restaurants...). After I got back the PS3 I decided I want to start something fresh, so I played Batman for a while. When I needed a break (at the green house section) I changed to play The Saboteur (finished now, good game). Currently going through Assassin's Creed II parallel to PixelJunk Shooter.

I think there is no need to tell you that Part 2 for Arkham Asylum has been confimred, since you know that already...?

There are so many gamers on this forum, and gamers that cover everything, PS3, X Box, Wii etc. Maybe we should start a video games section somewhere.

I'm a retired gamer. Came out of retirement last year for a while.  Need to do so again.  But now when I want to game, I prefer my PS3 (or iPhone!).  Why sit at a desk in a chair at the computer when I can relax on the sofa and play the PS3.  Tried the Red Alert 3 demo since I used to love Red Alert / Command & Conquer, but I couldn't get into it.  The controls were just too convoluted.  I'd love to try a first person shooter type, but then my wife won't let me play them while the kids (or the 7 year old anyway) is up and watching.  Got burned out on Little Big Planet fairly quick. But I am very interested in CoD.  Might have to look into that.  Any other recommendations?

I am currently on a gaming hiatus I have over 25 games consoles and haven't played any of them for months which is kind of sad really I don't like to see them gather dust I just haven't felt like playing them.

I should really go back and play one of them :/

I still haven't got any of the new systems.  I've been thinking more on getting  a Wii....so maybe I'll get one of those in the next few months.

I stopped playing video games a long time ago. Not because I feel too old for them, but because I don't really have the time or the patience for them. Even when I played I often used the cheat codes at some point when it became too complicated for me.
