For now I am just going to stick with The Proposal... unless I see something decent at Walmart the next time I go there.

I thought you'd seen His Girl Friday though, Pete, and you weren't quite into the fast pace? You really should try The Philadelphia Story! I know I keep banging on, but it pains me to see this genre be filled with such pap when there's sublime work in the past. There are a handful of exceptions, but not many in that list...  :tease:

I did see it... that is why it is not in bold :P

I was looking into the classics... but If I got any I wouldn't have been able to gotten all that I did. as I am now on a much stricter budget... I am trying to get the most bang for my buck... trying to get more titles for the little money I have. I will be keeping an eye on them once the price goes down though.

Truthfully? Not good. Too messy. There's Something About Mary is a slapstick comedy, The Princess Bride a fantasy and even then, Shrek? Eh?  ???

Number five is easily explained, but I'm not sure about their reasons. High Society is the musical version of The Philadelphia Story, which was a play originally. I still don't understand why they're lumping them together. It's only a remake like any other, whatever you think of either film.

I may be able to watch Bridgette Jones' Diary next weekend. I saw one of the On Demand channels had a bunch of romantic comedies on for Valentine's Day. I could watch those as well.

I enjoyed the first three, in order of preference.
I really like Shannyn Sossamon so that's the reason I'd rewatch 40 Days.
