A good episode that brings the storyline further. Even though it is beyond silly... I had to laugh at Wesley talking to the big hamburger.

My Thoughts:
Another good episode. It has been a couple episodes since Cordelia has not appeared on the show now. They have her on vacation. I am hoping to see her back soon now.The baby was taken to an alternate dimension... and Wesley had his throat sliced after betraying Angel. That last part I completely forgot about.

Angel: Season 3
17. Forgiving
Original Air Date:

Guest Stars:
John Rubinstein
Laurel Holloman
Stephanie Romanov
Jack Conley
My Thoughts:
I enjoyed this one as well. Wesley has a long road ahead of him to get Angel to forgive him and trust him again. At this point the only thing Angel wants is to see Wesley dead. I can understand it too... why didn't Wesley go to the team... a team he considered family... with the information he had and try to figure things out that way? It would have saved a whole lot of grief.

Angel: Season 3
18. Double or Nothing

Even as Fred, Cordelia and Angel come to Gunn's aid when a demon arrives to collect his soul, Wesley realizes his actions have cost him his job and his friends at Angel Investigations.
Guest Stars:
Mark Lutz
Jason Carter

My Thoughts:
And we have another episode I enjoyed. This one is less on the season long arc and more a stand alone episode. I must admit I got a kick out of what Gunn sold his soul for. I somehow forgot about it since I last watched it.

My Thoughts:
Once again this is another episode I enjoyed. We are really on a role here. The series has been up in quality for several episodes straight. I like the whole consequences from the spell thing. And of course there is the first look at the returning Connor from the hell dimension.

Angel: Season 3
20. A New World
Original Air Date:
5/6/2002
As Angel tries to track down Connor in the streets of L.A., Lilah approaches a despondent Wesley with an offer from Wolfram and Hart.
Guest Stars:
Vincent Kartheiser
Stephanie Romanov
Mark Lutz
Erika Thormahlen
My Thoughts:
While still a good episode... I didn't find this one quite as good as the previous several. While interesting... and I enjoyed the search for Connor and such. I didn't care much for the side storyline. Where Connor meets up with a junkie. And while I understand why it had to be drawn out some... I will be glad to see Wesley back in with the group. But that may take a while yet.

Angel: Season 3
21. Benediction
Original Air Date:
5/13/2002
Holtz returns from the Quor-toth dimension and sets into motion the final part of his revenge against Angel.
Guest Stars:
Vincent Kartheiser
Laurel Holloman
Mark Lutz
Stephanie Romanov
Keith Szarabajka
My Thoughts:
I enjoyed this one. It was fun to watch Angel and Connor fighting side by side. And how they fight so similar even though he grew up apart from Angel. Though I do think the whole Cordelia's new power saving the day in a previous episode... and her new power "curing" Connor in this episode is a little much. Seems like they are using it as a serve all purpose type thing at this point.

Angel: Season 3
22. Tomorrow
Original Air Date:
5/20/2002
Cordelia and Angel make their way towards a private rendezvous unaware that both of their lives are about to change forever.
Guest Stars:
John Rubinstein
Vincent Kartheiser
Laurel Holloman
Mark Lutz
Stephanie Romanov
Daniel Dae Kim
David Denman
Keith Szarabajka
My Thoughts:
This is a pretty good season finale. Though not the best I have ever seen. It went more of a story route then an action one. And seemed to worry more about setting up the next season then was actually necessary. But the story they told is an interesting one... so it is not a really big deal they went more the story route.

Great season opener! I enjoyed every minute of it. It is Wesley to the rescue... but yet he is still not back as part of the team just yet.

Angel: Season 4
2. Ground State
Original Air Date:
10/13/2002
When Wesley advises Angel to visit Dinza, a dark "goddess of the lost" who has valuable information on how to find Cordelia, he learns that a certain mystical antiquity called the axis can locate souls across dimensions. Angel, Fred and Gunn break into an auction house to retrieve the object only to discover that an electrifying cat burglar has the same intentions.
Guest Stars:
Stephanie Romanov
Alexa Davalos
Rena Owen
Tom Irwin
My Thoughts:
Another excellent episode. I really enjoyed this Gwen character. And if I am not mistaken... we will get to see more of her later in the season. Or maybe next season... I can't remember, but I do believe we see her again. The story is well done... and I like how they gave a back story to Gwen.

Angel: Season 4
3. The House Always Wins
Original Air Date:
10/20/2002
Angel, Fred and Gunn take a road trip to Las Vegas to enlist Lorne's help in finding Cordelia, but get caught up in a supernatural and literal "futures" trading scheme. A ruthless casino owner holds Lorne hostage, exploiting the popular entertainer's psychic abilities to steal unsuspecting patrons' destinies. It is Angel's future, however, that is of more interest...
Guest Stars:
Clayton Rohner
Morocco Omari
My Thoughts:
A fun episode... but not quite as good as the previous couple. I noticed there was a commentary track for this episode with the guy that plays Lorne. So I watched it both with and without the commentary. As I said... I enjoyed the episode without the commentary. And while always fun for me to watch an episode with an actor commentary on... this one really added very little. I definitely heard better commentaries.

Angel: Season 4
4. Slouching Toward Bethlehem
Original Air Date:
10/27/2002
After months of existing on a higher plane, Cordelia inexplicably appears back at the hotel - with no idea why or even how she arrived there. Sadly, a serious case of amnesia prevents Cordy from remembering either her friends or her past. Believing the full truth may scare her off, the gang attempts to hide the freaky facts about their lives. Unfortunately, that secrecy leads to mistrust on Cordy's part when the reality of their situation is revealed. Things get even more complicated when Lorne reads her mind and sees a terrifying vision of the future. Meanwhile, outcast Connor struggles to find his place in the world.
Guest Stars:
Stephanie Romanov
Nynno Ahli
Thomas Crawford
My Thoughts:
A really interesting episode that brings the main season long storyline further. I never cared much for the whole Cordelia with amnesia storyline... though I do know it is needed to get to the Jasmine storyline. But over-all I think it is interesting but could be better.

My Thoughts:
A pretty good episode. We find out in this episode how Fred ended up in that alternate dimension. While a decent episode... it is a little on the slow side.

Angel: Season 4
6. Spin the Bottle
Original Air Date:
11/10/2002
When Lorne performs a spell on Cordelia to restore her memory, it inadvertently causes the gang to revert back to their high school personas and leaves them with no memories of each other. Eventually, they discover that the only way to reverse the spell is to kill a vampire, just as Angel realizes that he is one.
Guest Stars:
No One Worth Noting
My Thoughts:
This one is a lot of fun to watch. I really enjoyed every second of it. After a spell gone bad... all the main characters gets turned back to their teen-aged selves. Of course we are familiar with Cordelia's character as we seen it in Buffy. But it was pretty fun to see the rest. The episode is definitely worth a chuckle or two.
