We're getting hammered by a Nor'Easter right now, and I'm expecting about 14-16 inches of snow before it's done.

Surprisingly we got hit... we normally don't get much snow at all around here for some reason. But we have what must be over a foot of snow out there! It was close to a foot when I took the dog out for a walk yesterday afternoon.... and it snowed all evening and most the night last night.

We will probably be stuck in the house for a while. Only if I had something I could watch!  :tease:

Right after I posted, the snow started to taper off. We only got about 8 inches.

It suddenly got cold here over the weekend. Sure, you'll think I am nuts classing 5°C as cold, but please remember that we don't have heating systems in our homes here!

Mostly it's no problem with the sleweping for me, just getting up!

It's starting to get nice and warm and sunny here now. Although I just checked the weather and apparently on Friday (New Years Eve) it will be 38°C (100.4°F). Looks like we are up for a hot weekend!

Probably heading down to a family beach house in Lorne with a few friends. But my stupid annoying sister is making a huge deal about it and now she wants to go down there with her friends too, even though I said I wanted to go first. So who knows.

What is it with you and your sister? Can't you share the house?

You quoted the wrong person, and my sister and I... well, we don't get along. I would be able to share the house just with her but I was hoping to have the whole place for me and my friends which would be 6 in total. But now she wants to go down with her friends as well. Basically it's going to be a very full place.

Just finished about 3 1/2 miles of snow shoeing.  :training: I'm telling you this, you don't know what exercise is, until you try this. I'm so worn out now. But it was beautiful outside, temperature at 32 degrees, steady wind about 20 MPH and crystal clear skies.
