Well, at least this should teach Karsten (DJ Doena) to spell your name correctly. ;)

Welcome to the forum.

Hey all... just so you know... won't see Brittany for a couple days. After school today she is going to her Grandmother's for the weekend. And her grandmother don't even have a computer let alone net access. She should be back home at some point on Sunday afternoon/evening.

Hey, Brittany is here!  :yahoo:  Sorry I didn't say welcome sooner but I've had a few health issues recently...okay, they're ongoing.  I saw a message from you earlier but I didn't realize that was you.  Tell your dad you want a big-screen TV for Christmas  :tv:

I should've known better anyway...if Brittany had gotten that large-screen TV, her dad might have commandeered it for himself!  :tv:  By the way, Brittany, if you don't mind my asking, what are some of your favorite older movies (if you have any)?  I enjoy good movies no matter when they were originally made, though a couple members of my family get on me about that.  They always ask me if I like anything that isn't 50 years old!

Well, some old favorites are

  • from Abbott & Costello (The Time of Our Lives or Meet Frankenstein)
  • the original monster movies
  • the first run of 13 Ghosts

I was taught young some black and white movies are good, but color helps you see!  ;)

Good for you.  I used to have a friend who pretty much hated B&W.  But I think a well-photographed B&W film can be very artistic.  Some B&W films I would think of as odd if they had been shot in color.

I see you mentioned wanting a certain wallcrawler.  Did you know there was a live-action series of that character made back in (I think) the 70s.  It was pretty cheesy.

yeah, dad showed me. Saw the opening, never got a chance to watch it. I sat through the entire series of the 67' Spider-Man, the 70s live action version can't be mush cheesier, right?

not to diss the 67' btw, it was really good for the time with a theme eveyone remembers.
