Which are the two comic series that you buy Donnie?

I am reading everything Vampirella related and Gen 13 related :)

...anything besides DVD's? No!

Many years ago (in the digital stone age) I was collecting comic books like Asterix and The Adventures of Tintin. Regretfully all these comic books disappeared over the years.  :(

I still see Tintin comics in a lot of comic and book stores around here. They are even making a movie about it now so it will become more popular again.

Tintin movies were done a long time ago. Most of them animated and a couple of real one with actors, but except from me, Eric and Sebastien I don't think a lot of people here had seen them since they are in french.

I have seen a lot of the early Tintin cartoons, I used to watch one of the cartoon series every day on TV. In fact to this day the theme to the old Tintin cartoons is still one of my favourites, it brngs back a lot of memories. I do hear they are in the works of a new one though, I forget who is doing it but I read about it in Empire magazine.

When I was in Primary School they used to show our classes episode of Tintin on those 'slow' days where the teachers couldn't actually be assed teaching anything. Those were great days

I definitely seen a fair few episodes of Tin Tin when I was little. Not sure if they were dubbed over in English or remade though!

Jumping into this fun bandwagon.

OK, so besides DVDs (and my current blu-ray obsession), there's not actually much I 'collect'. I wouldn't really mention books in general because they just come naturally (you can't just not have books, can you?)

However, from those two streams of life there are the particulars of which I'm usually a bit anal obsessive. These would include film reference/general film books and CD film soundtracks (a couple of thousands by now).

Film reference books started out eons ago with the Leonard Maltin's annual references, that is until I discovered how much of a douche Maltin and how he pampers to a specifically lighthearted/numbed audience I don't consider myself part of. So from there, the list has expanded considerably to include many different editors and authors but right now I'm in my horror movies books phase.

I guess I'm just into films....  :-\
