Can anyone suggest a good (& free) program for cataloguing my comic collection?

At the moment I'm using Comic Collector but I'm not 100% happy with it.

So any options?

What is it about Comic Collector you don't like? My son has hundreds (maybe even a thousand or more). He was just talking about getting something to track it better.

One of the problems I have is that it isn't as adaptable as I'd like.
e.g. I only have 1 issue of Captain America: #25
(click to show/hide)
, but I cannot have an entry just for that issue, I have to have the entire run(some 30 issues and counting)

I will admit that I haven't fully explored all of the functions but even on the reports, it shows everything, and not the ones you actually own.[/color]

@lovemunkey187

I have a friend at work that also collects comics, or at least has a collection. I'll check with him and let you know.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's a bad program. Although after using DVDp for my cataloguing purposes I may have been a little bit spoiled.

I tried the Comicbase advert that was at the bottom of this page and that seems ok, not really had much of a play with it, but will see what it's like.

Hope Comicbase works out for you. I checked with my friend and he is very old school. Binder, paper and a pencil!  :o
