Black Canary was also added to the group since that picture...

But we probably won't see her that often since the actress has become the Medic on the Stargate: Universe mission.

Btw: this video matches the above group picture verbatim:

I don't watch this show so maybe my question will sound stupid, but Aquaman can live only underwater (if my memory of the old comic book is good). How can he be with them?

Here on the show he only needs his regular dose of water or else he dries out and loses his abilities.

If I am not mistaken... she has been on the show 3 times so far. I know she was in Siren (where she was introduced) and she was in season 8 episode 1 (that I watched yesterday) and I believe there was one more at this point.

Question... Are Black Canary and Green Arrow together like in the comics?

Going by my memory (which isn't the greatest) I only remember it showing no more then a flirting stage.

Thanks for the fast answers. Of course it's possible that I confused Aquaman and Namor since they are pretty much the same character (one is the copy of the others, not sure wich one came first).

That could be it Jimmy... Im fairly sure Namor still can't leave the water like Aquaman.

Interesting. about Black Canary and Green Arrow... although I don't expect it to be the same as the comics... I just always liked those two together.

Even then. In the big picture Smallville doesn't care much about the established Superman universe. He's already met Lois Lane, BrainIAC, Doomsday, the real Jimmy Olsen, Zod - all before becoming Superman.

out of curiosity I checked DVDP for how many times Black Canary was in Smallville...

1. Siren (Season 7)
2. Odyssey (Season 8 ep. 1)
3. Doomsday (Season 8 ep. 22)

Yeah... Smallville really does their own thing. I mean after all he should have been Superman a long time ago. Even though I am still enjoying the series... I think the show should have ended a few seasons ago.

Is this a special TV movie or is it just a season two-parter shown as one episode? I have watched the trailer because I haven't seen season 8 yet and I don't want to spoil myself.

They are calling it a Two-hour movie extravaganza, “Absolute Justice.” But it is airing in the regular Smallville time slot so.... not really sure.
