I just watched tonight's episode of Bones. And I must say I loved every minute of it! Excellent episode!
STOP! Major Spoiler... if you haven't watched yet I don't think you would want to peak!

How soon did you figure out the wedding? I talked to my brother and he said it took him by total surprise! But me on the other hand... I had it figured out since Cam was unable to get them out of jail. They made a big deal out of them having to wait till the judge came... so that instant I thought to myself
The are getting Married!!!
The ending made me so happy as I really like them together! I must admit... I am curious just exactly where she got that ring from!

I am so happy with what happened in Bones. I only sort of watched because I was on the phone then, but I saw the important parts. Woooooohoooooo.

It is about time that Angela and Hodgins are together. I am so happy that this got fixed. This is possibly my favorite episode now because of this.
I had a feeling it was coming, only because I've read a few things that hinted that they would be back together by the end of the season. I have always loved them together. I hope they show the reactions of everyone when they tell them...but I won't be surprised if they don't.
Even though I'm thrilled with this development, that does not change the fact that I'm still....irked with how things with Bones and Booth are going. Them dating other people ..and talking to each other about it..is just messed up. That needs to be fixed.

I read a few things from the show's creator about this development. I can't remember his exact wording now, but it sounds like he is saying they did it to keep fans happy and watching even though they are upset about other issues. Sort of like they decided to throw us a bone to keep us watching. That irks me.

I've read that with season 6 a settings change may be coming, that Bones doesn't want to solve crimes any longer.
But what exactly they are going to change I don't know.

I've read that there is supposed to be a big shocking change in the last episode of the season. Though they do that every year. With how Bones was acting tonight, I can see her leaving to go off on some dig or something with how she was going on about not wanting to catch criminals anymore. I think she's regressing in some ways with her ...attitudes about things. She's shutting down again. And that is frustrating. As for a change in setting next season...I have no idea how that might work. It will mess up the whole dynamic of the show if they all aren't together. Though with all the other stuff they have done on Bones, I don't think anything will surprise me anymore. Hell...maybe the reason they finally fixed the Angela and Hodgins mess is because they won't be around next season...if Bones leaves the Jeffersonian - and that is what I think it coming based on tonight's episode and the little preview of next week - then I could see Angela, Hodgins, Cam..Sweets..all of them being gone. Which would tick me off. Though I suppose Booth might still work with them on cases..but without Bones, stuff will be messed up.
Ok...I think I rambled enough..for now.

I thought i should try to post here. Hasnt been posted here in a while. And i just got a quick Q about Bones Season 9.
Will this be their last season? I see they wont start the season before November. And see they've changed time\dayslots to Fridays aswell. And i've read\heard talk about that this season will be the last run for the show. Personally i enjoy Bones. (Not as much as the first 6 seasons) Before they messed it all up between our DD. But it would be kinda sad too, if they decide that 9 seasons would be enough. I've kinda enjoyed them the 'last 9 years' I hope for a better season 9, and a good season 10! And with how things ended in the season finale. Thing can be very interesting this season, if they play it right.
Do you guys think this is last of Bones?

I don't know. I do know it hasn't been a good sign for other shows when FOX moved them to Friday. And a lot of fans are ticked..majorly ticked with what they did in the final episode of the season. I only saw the last ..ohh....15 minutes or so and that was enough to tick me off so bad I haven't watched the entire episode. It is still on my DVR. Then I got more ticked when I read an interview posted like a day after the finale aired in which one of the producers said they were doing their job if the fans weren't mad about what they were doing. They aren't going to resolve it anytime soon either...the fans absolutely hate that bad guy and storyline, yet they insist on continuing, claiming it is a wonderful storyline.
I have liked the show..and I have stuck with it for the most part. I did stop watching for a while after they broke up Hodgins and Angela. That was stupid..and the way they did was just ...stupid. I haven't liked how they have kept teasing at things with Booth and Bones before things finally happened. I hated hated hated what they did in the 100th episode. I still haven't watched the final episode from that season and I barely started to watch again in the fall. I absolutely don't like that they cooked up this cocky jackass of a criminal to keep screwing with them. This may be what finally makes me quit watching for good.

I see what you say, and i do agree with alot of it. (Even tho Ange and Hodgins is back together) And for the seasonfinale. Well, dont like it a bit. Dont care for it, dont belive it. But they are building up for a "bumby" season 9. Dont see what good will come of it. (But thats just me) I went back and watched a few older episodes. Before B&B got together. I really enjoyed that alot better. The tension was there still. Now its just.. Gone. And how they got together a few season back. Really?! Thats its? Take a look at Castle. They'll show how its done. And the famous 'spark' seems to be gone between them. I dont like where the show is headed. But i fear that this will be the last season. (Just like CSI NY last season) even tho thats not FOX. Hart Hanson & co dropped the ball big time. (Sorry to say) and its a shame. I really love(d) that show. I guess it will be interesting too see how\if they will resolve all the issuess. In a credible way.

Oh I know Hodgins and Angela are back together now...It just ticked me off when they broke them up before for no real reason...just the writers screwing with the fans really. And what they are setting up now seems the same to me. The writers just don't know what to do if there isn't drama between them for some stupid reason.

I see what they are trying to do at times. But they fail completly. The last season they just dropped the ball. Unfortunatly, but after 8 seasons. I start to think what they want out of the show. And thats why i think this 9th season might be their last. Alot of bad signs. But i will have to give the season 9 a chance. But after what i've read and hear'd (Pelant) the new bad guy will be somekind of a sentral (?) is that a word? character in this season. How many episodes can they go down that route before it gets boring?
Well, i'll try to stay postive and hope they surprise us in a good way this season!

Pelant is going to still be around causing problems. Which really bugs me. I hate him and that whole story arc thing. it is already old. From stuff I've read online, most fans of the show can't stand him either, yet the writers and producers insist on stretching out what is happening with him, claiming he is such a great character. Not hardly.

I just watched some of the Bones interviews etc from this years Comic Con.. AND there was some spoilers..
DONT
read the spoiler if you dont want to know anything about season 9 please!
(click to show/hide)
From looks of things there will be a wedding in season 9! And a certain badguy might actually die.
For me, this is going to be interesting. I hope they will fix this season, and bring some of the greatness back to the show. Atleast thats what i'm hoping for.

Soo, Bones was back on last night eh! With a new season. (Season 9 allready!) And i just have to say, with all the crap they put us trough last year. This episode was interesting. I dont know what to belive actually. I'm a bit confused by what happend. (I will not spoil anything, for those who havent seen it yet) But you should check the ep out. If you followed them last season. I had the feeling of "this is too easy" by the end of it. I think a bigger story is building. For those who has seen it. What do you think of it?
