Ordering from each store by the cheapest price I may even be able to pick up another disc or two! :P
Try Lizzie Borden 2 ;)
It's a good sequel... Of course the first one wasn't hard to beat

Maybe they have changed the ownership recently, but my packages always were from Florida. Or maybe their international shipments are done from Florida.

I don't know Tom... I was just going by what the FAQ said...

Quote
Q: Where are you located?
A: New Jersey U.S.A.

But who knows. I will have to just see how fast the first package gets here.

OK... I went over my budget for my October Order... and Looked over the sites. And I think I came up with a decent order. Now this order can still change as several that I have on the list says Low Stock... or if prices change as I have my budget for the month pretty much depleted. But here is what I am thinking as of now...

House By The Cemetery
Complete Blind Buy... but heard was good.

Embryo / Legacy of Blood
Double Feature... never heard of either... but cheap.

Duel
Recommendation... though on another site said not horror.

The Substitute
Blind Buy... but plot sounds good and trailer promising.

Autopsy
Never Seen... but like a lot of the After Dark films.

Fear Itself: Season One
Season 1.. but also Complete series as was never renewed.

Haunting in Connecticut
Never seen... but been waiting for it!

Val Lewton Horror Collection
Recommended... checked out a couple trailers.. looking forward to them.

Bloody Birthday
I saw (and enjyed) something similar to this plot when I was a teen. I am hoping this is the movie I saw back then.

Visitors of the Night
TV Movie with Markie Post & Candace Cameron. Alien Abduction flick. Looking forward to checking it out.

The Uninvited
Blind Buy... Trailer looks pretty good.

The Orphanage
Recommended... Looks good.

Blood Reaper
No idea... but cheap and sounded interesting.

Black Christmas
I been wanting to check out the original version for years!

OK... with any luck... that is what I will be ordering in about two weeks. Hopefully I have some good ones picked out!

Not a bad movie, but one of the tamest horror offering from Lucio Fulci with a very annoying child actor. Maybe it would had been better for you to get another of his movies like The Beyond, City of the Living Dead or The New York Ripper.

Duel is horror, filmed like a thriller. It features a faceless monster and preys on base fears; the story develops on aimless emotion not character. And it's scary because it can happen!

Pete, you probably have already blown your budget for October, but a reminder:
The new He-Man and the Masters of the Universe Complete Series Set is released soon. Could count as horror TV episodes (Skeletor ;) ).

The main reason I picked that one was because it was super-cheap... but I will look into the other titles you mentioned.

Thanks Jon... pretty much figured that.

Yeah... budget pretty much blown for October... I will have to see if I can do anything in November. (Britt's Birthday!)

It's slow and only somewhat exciting/scary near the end. The rest I'd classify somewhere between creepy and boring.

If you like Fulci then it's gonna be fine.

This is definitely not real horror. Although, technically, it could be Jaws on wheels

I been wanting to get this as well. Hope it's good.

Since I'll be in Germany in October (so no marathon for me) and in Taiwan for Christmas I may hold back watching mine until then :D

This is a dilemma I am facing. Do I want to watch this movie for my horror marathon in October? Or do I want to save it for my Christmas marathon in December? I mean I have so few Christmas horror movies. Hmmmmm.... decisions decisions.

I considered that... but I was worried I wouldn't be in the mood for it again so soon. After all we are only talking a couple months.

I was going to suggest watching it for both too.
I've done that with The Nightmare Before Christmas...or watched it sort of in the middle of November.
