My good friend that never forgets my birthday just messaged me telling me she placed the order for my Birthday presents... she said all she will tell me is she picked 3 titles from my list I sent her.

The (long) list included...

So... she picked 3 titles off that list. This is the same woman that last year gave me that Monster Legacy Giftset... wonder if she will continue with that and ordered me the Invisible Man and Creature from the Black Lagoon sets?

Hard to say... She ordered them from Amazon Marketplace sellers (All New)... so they will be coming in 3 separate packages. I guess I should be seeing them come in within about a week or so.

  Shame we live so far apart would have been fun celebrating together!

Do you get them as soon as they come or will she wait till your actually birthday to give them to you?

Actually neither... she loves to torture me so I will have to wait at least a week or so once they get here. But at the same time she can never wait for me to open them... so she never makes me wait till my birthday.

First package showed up today! Must be a single movie is a normal keep case inside a padded envelope (unfortunately the case must be broke... as I hear broken plastic rattling around and a loose disc.

The other 2 packages from my friend arrived today. These seem to be in perfect shape... no rattling or loose discs

And she is pissed about that first one! she had me open it to be sure the disc is ok so she could contact the seller (Amazon Marketplace) And when I did.... I see a copy of Beetlejuice. I wanted to upgrade to the new special edition version. And I got the original release that I already have.

She double checked the listing and it was supposed to be the new special edition of the movie. so not only is the case damaged and disc loose... it is the wrong release of the movie! So she is now trying to see what she can do to fix it. Or at least get her money back!

As you may have seen in the other thread... I got the 20th Anniversary Edition of Beetlejuice now! 

Once I sent back the wrong version he had the right one to me in about a week. Not too bad.
