Smallville: Season 7
« on: November 03, 2007, 10:09:38 PM »
Hi,

is anyone watching Smallville? I always liked the show (and especially Chloe ;)).

Now I watch season 7 and I don't know what to think of it. I've got the feeling that most of the ensemble has very few screen time, except for Clark, Kara and maybe Lana.

Lois is rarely seen and Chloe has much less screen time than in previous seasons. Even the evil mastermind Lex hasn't that much screen time.

Is this in preparation of season 8? Rumor has it that Chloe and Lex won't return for an 8th season.

But what good is a Superman show without Lex?

Actually, with the way they've been doing the show, I'm more inclined to think "What good is a Superman show without Chloe?"

But then I'm kind of far behind, so I wouldn't know. Last season I've watched is Season 5, and I have 6 somewhere in the unwatched pile.

I have been watching it... not sure what I think of the new season just yet... but it does seem to be changing... if not changing preparing to end.

I heard rumors that if Kara is well liked this season they will do a Supergirl spin-off.

I've been watching it as well. Just watched this week's episode today.  I agree with your observation about some of the actors getting less face time. I think that's just so they can set the Kara character up a bit better. It took a couple of episodes to tie up the story arcs from last season and get things rolling for this season.

The show has yet to disappoint me, perhaps an episode or two but certainly not a whole season. With the November sweeps period just ahead I'm sure we're in for some great episodes very soon.

Did you see this weeks episode?
