Oh new Master of DVDcollectorsonline...How do I get "unread posts" to work?

Why doesn't it work? What happens?

Had the same problem (no "new" icon) but I changed my time zone offset and it's all right now

Jon, the link that you had post before the complete transfert is lost and I've forgot to keep it. Could you repost it?

Evidently this is for serious research purpose like every information that we can found on this fountain of knowledge that is internet...

What? You mean this one? BEST LINK EVER!!!

I think it must be possible, it told me twice I just missed it because I was having tea at the time. I'll have to watch it some more without having the tea...

There doesn't seem to be anyone still going to the old server, I'll give it another 12 hours to be safe then I'll shut it down.

Well, name server updates can take a while. But hey, once you shut the site down on your end that person will know that a change is happening...

I press on it but none of the new (unread topics) show up.

Another idea: Are you using the "Show unread posts since last visit." link from a bookmark? For the browser http://www.dvdcollectorsonline.com and http://dvdcollectorsonline.com.dd21308.kasserver.com/ are two different things and he doesn't share the cookie that remembers your login data. So it might be that you simply don't find new posts because you aren't logged in when you open the link.

Are you finding any new posts with this link: http://dvdcollectorsonline.com.dd21308.kasserver.com/index.php?action=unread;all;start=0;c=3,4,5,9,10,11 ?

Hey, this new owner is much better than the old one! Fast response to problems with multiple solutions... what more can we ask for? No moaning? Wow. He is good.

Eric, I don't mean it. You were a wonderful host...

The domain transfer has been completed. Within the next 48 hours every name server in the world should finally know it.

After that please use only http://www.dvdcollectorsonline.com because the temporary address might change in the (distant) future.

The hosting account on the old server has been terminated.

I think it's safe now to use http://www.dvdcollectorsonline.com again and forget about the temporary address.
