I've seen a little bit about the new Final Fantasy game.  It looks very interesting.  Though I won't have it anytime soon since I still don't have a PS3 or XBox 360.  But I do have a Wii now.

Thanks for the link, I love Zeropuctuation's reviews and haven't seen this one yet.

I have made some comments in regards to a different "review" earlier. I'll expand on those if something new comes up in the video (which I) might only be able to watch tomorrow).

How did I miss that? Oh well..

It does fit in with what I'm reading all over about the game - not enough game, not enough movie. It's like it doesn't know what it wants to be. Guess I'll find a way to try it out because I was just about to buy a PS3 just for that game..

Several of the scenes are highly exciting and hads me on the edge of my seat, worrying whether I would get my character out alive.

The fact that you play a total of four different characters can make it feel a bit disjointed at times. On the other hand it is fun to see how different actions create different results, sometimes as far as several hours later!

I believe there is approx. a total of 20 cutscenes for the ending, five of which are assembled to create one closing scenario. It is possible to get all of them with 2 complete playthroughs and then doing variations near the end only. However, there is still more permutations how the playable end can play out. I find it fun to go back and replay certain scenes to watch the actions unfold differently.

EDIT:
BTW, anyone here playing the XLA game "South Park: Let's go Tower Defense"? If I understood hat right then there is DLC for that and I got a download code for that with my Season 13 Blu-ray. Let me know and I'll send it via PM.

Not really 360 related - not even Microsoft related - but it looks just too cool not to post.

Just finished Dragon Age: Origins yesterday as a Human Noble Champion / Reaver Warrior. Good stuff! Can't wait for Awakening in the coming weeks, and I also have to experience the game as a Blood Mage / Arcane Warrior, and I also want to try it as a Rogue / Archer.  ;)

I don't usually have only three letters as my comment on something but ...

O...M...G...  :drooling:

Do go onto YouTube and watch in HD - it's worth it!

Me want! that bit of blood magic at the end!  :o
Can't wait!!

Another winner for Bioware! (too bad they are owned by EA... I soo wish I could avoid EA altogether, but I'm not about to deprive myself of Bioware just because of EA! )

That is awesome! Really makes me want to play the game... except I tried the first one and couldn't get into it. Maybe if the graphics are like that, eh?

Aw snap!

I just finished Mass Effect 2 again a few days ago - Loved it just as much too! Love the new "Lair of Shadow Broker" DLC with an old friend from ME1 ;)

But, now I wanted to play Dragon Age Origins again, because a few pieces of DLC have been released since I last played, along with an expansion that I didn't even play as of yet..

But guess what? My old save is corrupted! It won't load! Argh! I have to redo it all!

Well, I was going to redo it all in any case, because that old save was for a Warrior and I want to try a Rogue Archer this time around ... but still! I won't be able to import that old save into DA2 (provided the ability will be included!)

Damn hard drives.... What is it they say? They have a binary state? "Dying" and "Dead" ... Guess it's still just dying ... but getting shaky!

So from now on, my saves are on the USB key! I'm not loosing another save to that hard drive! Everything else I can either redownload or reinstall.. but if the hard drive fails, the saves are gone! (another advantage of the USB key is that I can easily make backups!)

My games for my Wii are decent I'd say! :)

Of coarse I gots Wii Sports. Comes standard.

Game Party, iCarly, and Goosebumps Horrorland really play off the arcade idea, the last two in their own unique way. Kinda cool. ;)

Then there's Endless Ocean, where you're basically a deep sea diver. Good for when you need to relax.

Nancy Drew: The White Wolf of Icicle Creek is a good mystery game, but didn't finish it yet, so really, I have no idea how things are supposed to play out.

On with the action games!! Ben 10: Alien Force, Ghostbusters, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, and Lego Batman. All awesome games where you really get to kick butt! I got 2 of these games beat, and I already got my eye out for more.

If anyone's interested, I got myself a little video game wishlist.

 - Spider-Man: Friend or Foe I used to play it with my cousin Jeremy. Fun game, funny movies. Good memories! It'd be nice to play it on my station.

- Spider-Man: Shattered Dimension Brand new, 4 different Spider-Men, 4 worlds, 4 personalities, all with unlockable costumes and power upgrades!! You have Amazing Spider-Man (original), Ultimate Spider-Man (modernized), Spider-Man Noir (set in 1930s) and Spider-Man 2099 (obviously future Spidey) Is gonna be AWESOME!!!

- Marvel Ultimate Alliance #2 was awesome, why not get the first?

That's it. :yahoo: I gotta say they all look awesome and I hope you guys wanna check it out, I think you'd be in for a treat!

I also heard you could get the Ultimate Spider-Man game on your computer?? If thats true, I would almost be interested if not for the fact I need all the Hard Drive space I can get till I get me a laptop!!

I have a friend who clocked in over 100 hours into this game. Now, I don't know if all this time is spent exploring or if it's just on for the music, but still, 100 hours on a single game!

Come to think of it.. I'm at aver 70 hours on Mass Effect 2 over 2 playthroughs...

--- probably even more time spent on Mass Effect 1 since I have all the "race friend" achievements which involve playing through "most" of the game (seems to mean around 75% or missions) with a specific companion... and there's 6 of them, with only two who can accompany you on a mission...

maybe I shouldn't talk too much

Lol, maybe

I'm on a shattered dimensions fix today. Here's a review I found for it by IGN
