That depends on your point of view. In two weeks time, there are elections for the local parliament "Landestag" of the Bundesland (state) Bavaria. Next year there are elections for our national parliament "Bundestag" but the campaigning has already begun.

At any given point in time somewhere in Germany are always elections and every polititian is sitting like a rabbit in front of the snake called "polls".
