I'd forgotten about that! It's very clever...

Now. Listen to me. Are you listening? Have I got your attention?  :readthis: This following video is very NSFW! And not safe for minors. It's freely available on YouTube, so I have no problem linking it, BUT. If you have fond, innocent memories of ickle Natalie Portman in Leon, be warned. It's a bit sweary:-X

This one isn't quite so rude, but the cat is scarred for life!

And how about one of pretty rainbows? Just to really balance it all out...

Ok, I know these are pretty old, but I figure some of you may not have seen them, and I couldn't stop laughing yesterday when I stumbled upon them.

Know "Chocolate Rain"?

Here's a better cover ;)

Ever seen this kid? (I think it's been posted here before)

Here's a better cover ;)

Sorry again... like I said, I almost choked laughing on these (especially the dentist one) yesterday  :-[

This is a song from the movie "Main Hoon Na", which is directed by first-time director Farah Khan, who by that point was a famous Bollywood movie choreographer. And this song feels like that she did something here which other director's never allowed her to do: Shoot a very elaborate choreography with a lot of camera movement, which looks like it was a real pain to shoot. Still one of my favorite Bollywood dance numbers, which I never get tired of watching.

The first three minutes look a one continuous shot, but there are some instances where I am not sure if a well-placed cut is hidden. I would like your opinion on it. Do you think there are cuts or not?

I dunno, it looks just like one long shot to me. Although I know there are digital ways of making a few shots look like one long seamless one. It was done in the film Children of Men.

Amazing footage of people desperatly trying to escape the crowd crush that killed 19 people, and injured over 100 more at the Love Parade music festival in Germany.

Back in March we had severe flooding here in Rhode Island, but the same storm also caused flooding in Maine. I found this video of a road giving way in Freeport, Maine. If you're ever debating as to whether or not to cross a flooded area, I hope this helps you make that decision...

And then people around me wonder why I am so scared of crowds....

I'd say it's definitely a trick, but it's a bloody good one! There are several moments where something "swishes" past or the camera whips around. The camera is also fairly static; it moves within a set area, so it's possible that the performance was largely one session, but the cameras could be physically moved out the way of the dancers, while they were doing it, then multiple strands of footage could be fed together. Very clever whatever they did.

Reminds me of:

My friend's phone just rang off the hook because he couldn't answer it. That reminded me of my childhood:
