How dare you even ask!  :o

 ;)

It was the original version, and the Director's Cut. The DVD gives you a choice, but only the Theatrical has a 5.1 remix. Even in mono and with variable video quality I think the DC is worth seeing. I know the ending very well, but somehow, it makes the film all the more powerful.

I haven't seen the new version, but I just can't comprehend how they can possibly get the same effect.

From all the bad reviews I've read neither could the film makers  ;)

To keep all participants in the marathon together, i have grouped the tables in one post.

I had made a nice presentation with colors and all the movies I'm gonna watch and now it's useless :weep:

I wondered because you only rated it 6/10, which to me indicates it's only slightly better than average.  :stars:

Who said you can't post your presentation?!? Please...pretty please. Posting your presentation will be like having a DVD with special features!

 :hysterical:

Have a closer look at those scores; they follow an odd pattern. I don't know what I'm going to watch on Wednesday, but I can absolutely guarantee it will be 10/10. And they'll only get better...  :tease:

I tried to reorder the posts to group the lists at the beginning, manged to do 1 but kinda screwed up and almost lost the thread.  The forum has not options to this, the only way is to modified the data directly and fool with messages ID's and posted dates, it really is a PITA.

To make things easy for everyone and save Richierick the extra work, I can just take them out of here and put them in a separate thread.

That'd work, and would save all the hard work I put in: pre-selecting the movies, coloring and IMDb links. ;)

Done.  Please keep your postings here and use the "old" thread only to update your lists or start one if you have the courage to join in so late

Richierich, I hope you don't mind, I know it took you time to put the lists together, I appreciate the initiative.

Thanks Touti for getting this organized!

I will go and watch another movie now :tv:

10/10 is a holiday here, so I hope to get a few watched (well, maybe 3) to allow for some slack later.

You're welcome ya_chin.  Today is a holiday here so I'm getting ready to watch a few more myself.  Next will be "The Hindenburg".

10/10 is Taiwan's National Day.

Found this:
Double Ten National Day; celebrated every year on October 10th to commemorate the 1911 Wuch'ang Uprising, a milestone in China's political development and new chapter in the history of the Chinese people.

Do movies watched at the cinema count or only DVDs?
