Here's a silly way to waste 10 minutes, while proving how broad a collection you have! Inspired by the thread about the total running time of your collection, I realised it would be possible for some of you to run a pirate TV station.
Could you provide a full days varied broadcasting, just using your DVDs? You have to account for the types of people who might tune in, plus times they would be watching, and observe a watershed (so no porn in the afternoon!). And no faking it. This Is Spinal Tap is not a documentary, and the film Quiz Show is a film, not a quiz show.
I'm looking forward to seeing Jimmy's! "No porn in the afternoon", I said, but I reckon he's scuppered until about 10pm!
Even then people would phone to complain about the quality.
Pete has probably got a head start with all his old serials and game shows. Obviously news is impossible... is it?
If any of you have got DVDs of news broadcasts, I think you need to see a doctor.

Already I've fallen into the trap of assuming my audience wouldn't be clever enough to want foreign films on their main channel, so Bicycle Thieves is buried.
On the other hand, I actually had a cooking show for lunch time! A celebrity special, yes, but a cooking show all the same.
