:o 5-star wanted level...? :suicide: That mjust be super-tough to loose!
Well, you don't really have to lose all 5 stars by yourself. You lose 2 stars through the story of the mission, and then drive arround to lose the last 3. So basically, you only have to shake down 3 stars, which isn't too bad (and would be much easier if the car they give you wasn't a freaking big SUV)

I have not yet "found" any armor...  :headscratch: Yes, I have bought some at the store or from Jakob, but never found it lying around...

I've found 2, but I'd be hard pressed to tell you where they were, or to find them again myself!  :bag:

So the mission doesn't allow you to change the car...?

Anyway, loosing 3 stars is definitely possible, it may take time, given the car you mentioned, but it can be done (I mean of course it can be done, just talking myself into it).

Yes you can change car mid-chase, but since you have 2 partners with you, I found it too much of a hassle to get out of the SUV, find the new car, get in and then wait for the dumb AI to finally find the doors to the car.

Much "easier" to race to the closest pay and spray, taking as many detours as possible to try and lose the police, and get the SUV resprayed without the police seeing you enter the spray shop. Your mileage may vary ;)

And escaping 3-stars? It's ok. Not easy, but it's doable. The problem if the stinking chopper. But I've yet to cleanly escape a 4-star level. I always get killed.

Hadn't heard of that. It's kinda neat! Should raise Pete's interest in the game

I am usually playing more air-drums than air-guitar, so this looks indeed quite delicious. In a way I hope that it wouldn't come out for the PS3 so that I wouldn't even be tempted...

Yeah, and I don't know if it is a rumour at this time, or if it'll be the actuall price, but I'm reading a price tag of 189.99$ for the deluxe version of GH:WT (with game plus drums, 1 guitar, and mic)

With Marathon I was referring to this.

What is that that will be really hard for you...? (:hmmmm: not sure that is coming out right)
My bad! I thought you were referring to the GTA marathon on Social Club

And the hard part I was referring to, is the 120 times arrested. SInce I don't want to be arrested and lose my weapons!
Well, first of all, I eventually figured out how to sign up for the "Social Club" thing. I am planning to complete the Marathon eventually; like you said earlier, not for the medals, just for myself. The good news seems to be, the info apparently gets transferred to their server as you play. That means, you can get yourself arrested 120 times (just annoy the cops at the station where you get released) and then simply don't save the game :D

I have now reached the Three Leaf Clover mission, which has the reputation on the internet to be one of the hardest in the game, which should unlock the final island for me. I tried once so far and it seems pretty tough indeed. Got killed in the alley-shootout the first time around...

Have you played online yet? I have tried once and got creamed so hard that I haven't tried again yet; I think I will soon though, as I am slightly more skilled now.

The game still rocks! :yu:

You're catching up to me! I've barely played the game since passing this mission. It's like it was the highlight of the game, and now I find all other missions boring!

I tried it once, in free mode. I thought it sucked really bad. Nothing to do, just run around town. I mean what's the point? I can do all that offline. I haven't tried the other, more goal oriented and competitive modes, but I usually hate competitive online play (which is why Rock Band is the only game I play online. You play as a band, not against one another).

Oh yeah!
(even though I am a bit bored of it at the moment).

Well, Free Mode is just that, indeed. I guess the purpose of it is, so that friends can get together and try out stuff they couldn't do in single player. You know, like those stunts where a motorcycle jumps over a helicopter...

I think the mode you are looking for is: Deathmatch! No goals, no mission, just finding the others on the map and shooting, shooting, shooting. Sure, you can shoot the hell out of cops and peds in the game, but the others fight back more "realistically". I tried it once and while I lost heavily at the time, I am definitely going to try again.

Awesome indeed. And really cool how it captures (some of) the essence of the game!

Not as hot than Grand Theft Auto, but after almost a 2 months waiting time...

Out Of the Park Baseball 9 is release today for those who have pre-order it and I'm one of the lucky one  :yahoo:

My baseball universe is now created and I restart the Montreal Expos history. Starting with their first year in 1969 trough the future (all the player are real untill today), the only difference with the reality : Claude Brochu doesn't own my team, so no fire sales and no relocating.

Don't be surprise if I don't watch a lot of movies for some days  ;D

For some nostalgy, I attach my franchise opening rooster.

I agree, the excitement of Three Leaf Clover was never really recaptured...

So, how are you doing, did you ever picked up playing again? As of today noon I have completed the story! (I am currently going through the alternate ending (I think it doesn't spoil anything, everyone should know that by now) and feel I went in the right direction at first.

Next will be completing the side missions, the marathon and 100%.
