Hmm, I suppose I haven't played enough PC games to notice. Like you I only ever really use PC for RTS games like Age of Empires, Warcraft 3 etc. Anyway back to my original question. How to I find out what hard ware I have in PC? I want to post what I have here so maybe someone can figure out what I need to upgrade.

Thanks Jon. I'm downloading it now. I think you will have a field day when you see the results. I'm pretty sure I only have a built-in video card. I've heard that's pretty much the worst type of video card there is.

It's done, so how do I send you the results?
The results opened in a web browser but from the look of the url it's not something you could get to if I just pasted it here.

Ah, well, yeah, it isn't good. Thing is you can get a mid-range card here for about £50 that would devour Portal and anything similar really easily, so long as the mainboard can run it.

Have you got Word? From Belarc's report page, click Edit, then Select All. Click Edit again, then Copy. Open a new document in Word, click Paste. Save the document and attach it to a PM... That should do the trick.

But yeah, I too prefer console gaming. You know the game is going to work.

Tell that to just about any New Vegas player

For video cards, anytime someone comes to me with a busted and or wants to replace a video card or if I am building a new PC, I like to take a gander at TomsHardware's "Best Graphics Cards For The Money"
Here's the one for November 2010

I like how they run through many different price range, and tell you what's the best choice in regards to gaming.

And most of the time, the I'll end up choosing usually falls in the 100$-170$ range

I don't think you can have attachments with PM. You should be able to attach a file to a normal forum post though.

Hmm I don't really want to attach it to a normal forum post, there's too much information on it. Jon do you have another e-mail I could send it to?

Understandable. You could try Ge.tt then send the link to Jon, and once you are done, delete the share. Just make sure to not delete your cookies before you decide to delete the share. Or even better, leave the window/tab open the whole time.

Awesome deal for some great indie titles (Braid and Machinarium... don't know too much about the others)

http://www.humblebundle.com/

You pay whatever you want, and choose between 4 "entity" how to divide the money!

Braid and Machinarium alone are worth the price.. and you get 3 more games with that!

I've gotten my main character to level 82 in World of Warcraft.  I worked some on the new profession last night..did some exploring.  I'm just slowly working through the new stuff..I'm not in a hurry like some people.  Some hit the new level cap - 85 - within hours somehow.

You should post some screenshots of your character Marie.

For a short time I played a MMO called Heroes and Villains on PC. My character's name was Mr. Fogarty.
