Another thing I am missing is "Undo closed tabs". And this is something which will probably not work as the whole process is killed when a tab is closed. But this is a small price to pay. I always was disappointed with Firefox how much memory it took up in a relatively short amount of time. I often had half a gig memory consumption solely from Firefox after browsing YouTube for example.

Check the bottom right portion of a new tab, it shows "Recently Closed Tabs".

wow! it grabs any search you make and adds it to the list of search engine. You can then just go in, change the keyword to whatever you like, and that's it!

Not really needed but I use it a lot, especially on my 42" EDTV Plasma screen which looks like sh.... if I set a resolution any higher than 800x600 (They actually recommended 640*480  )

Thanks, I have missed this. Should be accessable easier IMO. Because I will probably disable the "New Tab" page in the future.

Tom, even if you disable it you can always hit ctrl+t on your keyboard to get a new tab when needed.

When I start typing wiki, it tells me Wikipedia. But when I continue to type in my search string, it switched back to search via Google.

I meant the option to load a blank page instead of the "New Tab" screen, when opening a new tab.

Got it worked out. For some reason the Search Engine URL was wrong. Seems it has imported site shortcuts as Search Engine shortcuts.

Yeah I noticed that. I deleted all search engines, and I'll just re-enter them as needed.

Agree with madacid here. I don't understand what is the big deal with Google and all their tools, they just have to do their own operating system and they will become the new Microsoft.

I'm perfectly happy to use Firefox (as I was with Netscape years ago), I don't use them as a search engine too (Yahoo does the job better). The only tool by them that I use is their traductor, since I like it.
