Plot:
Alison Blanchard begins her journey to become a physician in her Gross Anatomy class, where she must confront rows of cadavers and her own fear of mortality. When the sheets are drawn back revealing her cadaver, Alison senses a presence in the lab. Her jaded professor chalks it up to first year "jitters" but her worries increase when a friend is found dead in the basement. Alison must find out the truth behind her cadaver before its angered spirit can wreak further vengeance on those who dared to disturb the body.

Extras:
1. Commentary with Director Jason Todd Ipson and Editor Mike Saenz
2. Unrest: Behind the Scenes
3. Trailers

My Thoughts:
Audio:
NOTE: Keep in mind that I have a very old surround sound system that desperately needs replacing!
Going by the equipment I have... I really have no complaints. very clear audio. The background music does not overwhelm you and drown out the dialog or sound effects. So all good here.

Video:
NOTE: I have a TV that is less then a year old, but keep in mind all I have is a 20inch standard TV that only cost me just over $100.
The video is crisp and clear. No dust or artifacts.  No complaints what so ever.

Extras:
Compared to the last After Dark Horrorfest DVD I watched (Gravedancers) this DVD really has very little to offer when it comes to extras.  All this release has is a Commentary Track (Which I saved for another time), Trailers including After Dark Horrorfest Compilation - Dark Ride - The Hamiltons - Reincarnation - Gravedancers - Penny Dreadful - Wicked Little Things... and then there is the Behind the Scenes Featurette.

The Trailers all look to be good horror movies... all coming from The After Dark Horrorfest Collection. I am actually looking forward to collecting them all... all except Reincarnation anyway... as it is a Japanese Horror and don't have English Dubs. It does have English Subtitles but I can't keep up with both the movie and the subtitles at the same time... I am just too slow of a reader for that.

Unrest: Behind the Scenes is a 7min. featurette talking about the usual idea for the movie, the actors and crew involved and the making of the movie. It isn't a bad featurette... but nothing special either. Your usual making of fare.

Movie:
I don't know what I was expecting going into this movie... but I must admit that it exceeded my expectations. I will admit this is a more slow-paced horror movie... which I normally don't care for as much. But it really seemed to work for this movie. It was slow-paced but it kept the suspense through-out the movie so that helped. This is another movie I can truly say I am glad I added to my collection. Looks like I have another series of DVDs I will have to collect... bring on the next After Dark Horrorfest DVD!

You are the man when it comes to horror! :yu: I like your vampire avatar on invelos!

Thank you for sharing your insights and opinions on the various movies you watch. My knowledge of this genre is limited so it's great to hear from someone with a passion for the subject. The only problem is my wish list has increased dramatically and it's mostly your fault!

 You are not the first one to blame me for something like that.... I have one friend that blames me all the time... she says... "If it wasn't for you... I wouldn't even have a dvd player... and now I have 3 and almost 1000 DVDs!" So every time she says that to me... I just say You're Welcome.

So You're Welcome Kathy!  ;D
