Yup, Najemikon is quite right. From what I know DVD-Audio is dead and buried, the compatibility issues made for a quick demise. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the huge difference was the multiple layers and the dreaded Video_TS folders that made reproduction in standard DVD players impossible.

Where the marketers of 5.1 music have missed it is in the Auto end of the sales. Car sound systems are perfect places for 5.1 sound.

Must have their reasons for not pushing this but to me a good 5.1 Car speaker demo would have people  for both the hardware and music mixes to go with it.
