Since some of you were counting I got curious...

In DVDP
333 profiles are currently tagged with the horror genre
28 profiles are currently tagged with the horror AND Television genre

NOT labeled watched by me are 63 profiles (that includes two box sets though).

So, Pete, I forgot: What's the riling about TV shows? Each episode counts as 1? (Would be a great time to start watching the Death Note anime...)

Yeah... I was counting each episode as 1 because I do a lot of Halloween episodes for any series... and that is usually only one per season of a show.

The current vote is 11 no votes... and 1 yes vote. Are any of you no votes thinking I can do it yet? After all... there is only 24 days left!  :P

LOL... I think I am going mad Jon!

Wow!... no wonder I am going nuts. I just checked the history on my DVD Profiler. The last horror movie I watched was on July 27th when I watched Secret Window. So it has actually been 43 Days already since I have watched a horror movie!

After reading most of these posts, I have come to the conclusion that you like horror movies.  :o I just purchased the Scream Trilogy last week and bought the Nightmare on Elm Street Collection abount 2 months ago. I am not a horror fanatic but I do have a good appreciation for it.
Anyways, I am new here but I am a collector, and I was just wondering how large of a collection do you have? of dvd's in general that is?

Welcome to the site! :)

As of today I have 1,576 titles. that would be counting boxsets (like Nightmare on Elm St. Collection) as one even though there is 7 movies plus an extras disc.

And yeah... I love horror... out of 1,576 titles I have 543 Horror Movies.

Ok.... ok I think I am getting the hang of this now. Wizard of Oz is out... Wicked Witch and scary flying monkeys. But I can watch The Exorcist Right? I mean after all... nothing scary there... hell my niece even sat through the whole thing laughing!
Just read the thread again and I've miss this post the first time.
Watch this one since it countains nothing scary and you get a good challenge with it : watching it without falling asleep after 30 minutes.

Even this movie is scarier

I'm waiting too for the marathon and as a preparation for it, I've check everything I own that could be considered as horror movies. The list is pretty big (432 titles) some are very mainstream, but as usual a lot are not that known. So I've created a new tag for listing them and if you really want me to watch something my list is available.

Just use the link to my collection, use the "Possible for October Marathon" tag and check the movie in the list. Keep in mind that I will probably not rewatch the movies that I've already reviewed (with some exeption) and no I will never rewatch The Curse of Lizzie Borden in this life

So if you want to know about one or more movies just ask and let me know if you want just a short review or a more complete one like I do usually in my review topic.

Don't be shy  ;D

Looks like I miscounted that above.. I now have 554 horror movies in my collection. With 4 more horror movies that will be here any day now.
