What I really would like to get my hands on is a new custom case for the 1st and 2nd seasons of Sliders! I absolutely hate the case they used for that set!  >:(

Unfortunately even if I found one I couldn't use it since I don't have a working printer any longer.  :P

Paul Champagne is not the actual designer, cases are designed by graphic artists, Champagne produces the cases and pays them.  At least that's how I understand it.  Point is, I believe you can send him an email with requests, he will pass it on to the artists and if one comes up with a nice design it will be added to the catalogue.

I don't understand where the printer goes in all this though ;)

for that site... it probably don't... I have seen other custom case sites where you basically download the images and print them out to make your own custom cases.

These are real cases, ready to use.  You can even add up to 100 characters at no extra cost to personalize them.  Taken from their site:

These Collector's Cases are made of either gold or silver anodized aluminum and brushed gold or silver ABS. Laser engraved in black over the brushed metal finish or finished in full color using the latest digital laser color imaging system.

The cases will fit on a standard DVD shelf.

The engraved cases can also be personalized with a name or message commemorating or highlighting a special occasion. (100 characters or less at no extra charge)
This service is not available on the color cases.

I've been looking at them for quite a while.  I think I'm gonna order the "Lethal Weapon" one to see if they're worth the price.  I bought the 4 movies separately and they are all snappers, I'd love to hide them in a nice box.

I've been looking at Design Paul Champagne for a little while now, but never got to buy anything as of yet. The cases look great, but I've never taken the plunge as of now.

As it stands now, I'd be interested in the Unfinished Tales Lord of the Rings box for the theatrical cut DVD, and a few of the anime ones, like Gungrave, Last Exile & Cowboy Bebop.

Oh and Paul Champagne did do some designs, like for the Aliens one.

At least he ships using united states postal services so things will be received here by Canada Post who doesn't charge any brokerage fee.  UPS and Federated would charge 50$.

I'm gonna go ahead and order that case for Lethal Weapon, we'll see if the transaction is smooth and if it's worth the price.
