My Thoughts:
Audio:
NOTE: Keep in mind that I have a very old surround sound system that desperately needs replacing!
With taking the above into consideration... I must say I have no complaints about the audio on this movie. All sounds were crisp and clear. A pet peeve for me is when the background sounds or background music is so loud that it interferes in understanding the dialog. That is another thing I can happily say does not occur in this movie.

Video:
NOTE: I have a TV that is less then a year old, but keep in mind all I have is a 20inch standard TV that only cost me just over $100.
The video quality was also very good... as crisp and clear as you can ask for... not sure how good it looks on a larger screen TV... but looked great on my 20inch TV. No complaints what so ever.

Extras:
The fist thing I did when I popped in the DVD is check out the trailers.   The Original Trailer is actually a trailer they put together to get funding to make the movie. was fun to watch... really put me in the mood for the movie. The Bonus Trailers included... Afterdark Horrorfest (which was a compilation of all the afterdark movies), Dark Ride (Looks Good!), The Hamiltons (Looks Good!), Reincarnation (Looks Good! but wonder if it is in English... no English spoken in trailer), Unrest (This one Looks Really Good! must see this one!), Penny Dreadful (Looks Good!) and Wicked Little Things (Looks Good!).

After watching the movie I moved on to some of the other extras. First I checked out the deleted scenes. On pretty much all the deleted scenes I can see why they were taken out. These scenes really wouldn't have done anything to enhance the movie. Though I am always happy to see these deleted scenes as an extra.

Next up was the Featurette "A Grave Undertaking". This is your basic Make of a movie featurette... interesting watch... but nothing too special.

Then I watched the Featurette "Making of the Ghosts". This one I really enjoyed. It is, as the title says, shows you how they made all the ghosts in the movie. This one I found really interesting. Much more then the one I watched before it. It was fun to see the process they went through to make the ghosts.

The Storyboard Gallery is actually a Storyboard Comparison Gallery... it flips through the storyboard images in the bottom corner as it shows in the upper corner a video on how it actually turned out in the movie. Just take note... do not watch this comparison before the movie... as it is a comparison for the final scene of the movie and will spoil the ending for you.

I am saving the Commentary Track for the next time I watch the DVD.

Movie:
Now... what did I think of the movie itself? Hmmm... well after the initial scene's action the story slowed down quite a bit till the scene in the graveyard where they dance on the graves.  But once that scene was done the movie definitely picked up! I feel that this is a very good ghost story. I wouldn't say the best I ever seen... but definitely enjoyable... one that I feel comfortable recommending to any horror fan. There was even a couple things that I really didn't see coming... which is always a good thing! Going by this movie... and the trailers for the other movies in this series I am really looking forward to watching the rest of the titles in this series!

Actually encourages me to try my hand too, as I'm just about to finish watching a set tonight.

Thank You both!  :)

I was the whole time trying to write this thing without putting in any spoilers. Sometimes that is harder then it sounds.  :P
