I think the bigger shock here is not Paris Hilton's show being Sam's guilty pleasure, but Jimmy's comment indicating he actually watched this at some point

I watch "reality TV" as I like to see people making fools of themselves for their 15 minutes of fame. I even watched the one with Tia Tequila when it was on TV a couple of years ago. Except for the vanity project like Keeping up with the Kardashians or The World According to Paris, I watch anything... even something stupid like Jersey Shore

Well, to be honest, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie only 'act' stupid in this show. They both obviously have some intelligence, Richie moreso than Hilton. They play out their stupidness to make silly money. Fair play to them.

As for Jersey Shore, I have seen the odd episode of that (and the UK version Geordie Shore). I read an interesting article the other day about how it is the most watched show in the history of MTV, how they make $30k plus per episodes and how one in particular (The Situation?) is standing to become a billionaire at his current pace, due to his business deals with merchandising etc. Fair play to them. Make an arse out of yourself, get paid a ton to drink, party and have sex with silly hot fame hungry girls and then in ten years nobody will remember you but you'll be set for life.

The type of reality shows I really like though? The Last 48, Storage Wars, Pawn Stars, all the UK police shows like Road Wars.

I recently got hooked on Pawn Stars.... watching a few episodes on On-Demand. I don't know what it is about that show... but just find it so interesting for some strange reason.

Fair enough, good points even.

I watched some myself, whatever they had on MTV when I went home to Germany. I mostly remember having a good laugh with Hulk Hogan...

I haven't uploaded the profile yet - I still want to add child profiles for the individual discs - but I got Numb3rs - Season 5..the last season that I still needed.

I have no idea how many completed series this makes..I need to take inventory again.

After trying multiple times I just couldn't get into Arrested Development... so I sent them out for a trade in. So I am now back down to 193 completed series. The number is going the wrong way!  :(  :P

I just finished burning an old TV Show recordings to DVD... now I have the complete series of...

That '80s Show

Which gives me 194 completed series.

Not nearly as good as That '70s Show... but fun in it's own right I guess. I haven't actually watched it in years... but will here shortly. :)
