Too bad: Germany's longest law has been repealed.

In the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern we had a law by the name of Rinderkennzeichnungs- und Rindfleischetikettierungsüberwachungsaufgabenübertragungsgesetz (lit: Cattle Marking and Beef Labeling Supervision Duties Delegation Law).

It was created in the 90s to deal with BSE and was now repealed.

Now we have to look for another law with such a beautifully long name. :D

Oh, nice! Long compound words like that are usually very hard for spellcheckers to handle.
Does MS Word recognize it?

Why was the law repelled?  The disease isn't irradiated; it could always return if not careful.

Well, at least we still have that village in Wales to ogle about: Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch

(I've known about that name since I was in elementary school nearly 30 years ago. I found it in a kids' magazine.)
I have a collection.
It can be found here.
No need to check it often.
I update it only twice a year!
