Synopsis:

This show intends to give viewers an intimate understanding of how Norman Bates' psyche developed from his childhood through his teen years. Fans will have access to the dark, twisted backstory and learn first hand how his mother, Norma, and her lover damaged Norman, helping forge the most well-known serial killing motel owner in history.

I've seen a few ads on tv for it..thought it looked interesting.  I've always thought Norman was an interesting character...twisted as all get out..but interesting.

Ooo...Freddie Highmore?  I didn't realize he was going to be in it.

I agree, Freddie could be a fun choice. Although I am more hesitating in regards whether this material lends itself to a TV series, which this supposedly is? What will it be? Kill of the week and how Norman is getting out of it? Hmmm, maybe they got inspiration to try this from Dexter's success?

Great trailer and really looking forward to this one.  Hopefully it WONT be a kill of the week but more the twist and turns of the characters and situations.

That trailer convinced me of the potential of this series. Just showing how Norman became what he was in Psycho, like when he picked up taxidermy as a hobby...
