Back to the R rating?  That's better.  A PG-13 Die Hard movie is just wrong.

My boss sent out an email yesterday asking who is interested in attending a conference in New Jersey February 12th & 13th.  I replied "Thanks, but that's the day before Die Hard 5 opens and it's just not worth the risk of not making it back in time". :hysterical:

I think it's probably fair to say Die Hard is my favorite movie, so there's not a chance I'm missing this! Plus, who wants to go to Jersey in February? :headscratch:

Sounds perfectly logical to me.  I love the movies too and want to see it.  That will probably still be a busy day at work...  My manager would kill me if I requested it off. There are only like 7 of us in the office this year, so we'll be working crazy long hours for a while.  But I don't work on Sundays, so I could go then...probably.  We have a few meetings on Sundays this year..and I'll probably be doing some of the bookkeeping on Sundays - I do that too - Hmmm.....  even if I have to go in that Sunday for a bit, I can go to a later show on Sunday.  Yes..that's what I'll do.

I'm already planning to not work on 3-14-14....the next Muppet movie is set to be released that day.  I am not available that day..we have to put in when we are available to work every tax season..so that day will not get filled in for me.   ;D

Exactly.  I am a big Bruce Willis fan and have really liked the Die Hard Franchise.  Yes, Bruce Willis has basically 1 character, though he has shown a very 'soft' tough guy in a couple of films, but let's face it.  He plays the character I (and problably most people) would love to be.  The tough wise-cracking softy that in the end just does what he has to.  Not too happy about it and never reverent ... but always there to do the right thing..  Spit in the face of the bad guy while getting beat up.

Really looking forward to this one.
Thank you
David
