I thought the trailer wasn't that bad. It showed the potential of the movie anyway.

The third one was a mess..there was just too much crammed into it.

Well, it has Emma Stone who almost single-handedly saved the Oscars and that Steve Carell comedy - that's the only reason I will give this a try.

I'm probably going to go on Tuesday too.

I still don't think they needed to reboot the series already...but it looks interesting anyway.  My Spider-Man knowledge mainly comes from the first 3 movies and cartoons I saw as a kid...all of which have Mary Jane....so I think it is going to be a little odd with out her for me.  Not bad...just odd.  I got a book that covers stuff from the comics...it might have been before the third movie came out..I can't remember for sure now.  Anyway, that book was the first I knew that Mary Jane came along later.

Just came back from watching it. I really enjoyed it (as did everyone else I was with).

Most complains from critics seems to be that it's too similar to Raimi's film and lacks innovation or just more new things. The critics seem to be aware that their opinion will not stand in the way of the film's success
