I think I read somewhere that the plan for these is to release 2 of the ultimate sets a year..so next year we'd get 5 and 6, and then the following year, in 2012, both parts of 7.

I haven't watched these two yet, but having watched the first two, I think they are well worth getting.  The movies look amazing on Blu..and the extras are so entertaining and interesting.

In a similar vein I got the Chess Box Set edition of Curse of the Golden Flower, no pic sorry as the disc within it had already been used for a discid profile.

Not heard of this, would be very interested in seeing some pics if possible, please.

Today I double-dipped my first TV show: I got the eighth season of Smallville for a good price on Blu-ray and decided "what the heck"...

I'd probably do it again if the Doctor Who seasons would get acceptable prices.

I want the Doctor Who sets..I've been watching the show on BBCAmerica HD..it does look really good.  I wouldn't mind having it on Blu, but it is so expensive.

Only the fifth series and the specials are available on Blu-ray. All episodes before that were shot in SD so they wouldn't benefit much from an HD upgrade. Anyway, if you can import from the UK you can get the complete series 1-4 box set on DVD for about £45.

I was just looking through and trying to reorganize my DVDs (a new collection from Christmas and minimal rack space in multiple paces) and realized, when you include ea few DVDs I was given that I don't want, just how difficult it seems for me to want to get rid of any of mine (including double dips).

I think what is happening is my wish/hope that if I go back to SecondSpin or a similar site, maybe I will be able to get a slight amount more for them because so much was spent on them in the first place. I'm not foolish enough to think I will get nearly what was paid for them, but 35 cents just seems like a waste of time.
I have a collection.
It can be found here.
No need to check it often.
I update it only twice a year!
