I'm currently trying out the database sharing feature in DVD Profiler. I like it so far. It's a bit slow, but that's probably due to my slow upload access coupled with the overhead for
Hamachi, but at least, I don't have to always remember to sync the databases at home and at work.
But, I have a quick question.. What's the point of having a separate password for profile editing... when you can't actually edit profiles when connected through the network to your database? Or am I just missing something?
Because if not allowing profile edits through the network is actually as intended, then the feature is, to me, completely useless since the only reason I'd need it is for those times when I order and/or receive a few DVD at work and want to enter them right away..
