I have to say it's not just packaging, it needs a synopsis that peaks my interest as well, but the majority of my buys are blind buys.

The line in The Incredible Melting Man synopsis cracked me up: "There is much to recommend The Incredible Melting Man, not the least being a range and caliber of acting normally only found in the porn industry."

Yes, that would've piqued my interest too!!

Today I received a shipment from Amazon.com. One of the discs was a floater and had been shaken around the Keep case so badly, that it was scratched beyond recognition :'( I've had floaters before, but none had been scratched so badly; I checked this one with a software and returned error after error after error.

I initiated the return shipment procedure with Amazon, which is done online and eventually received an e-mail saying, that I don't even need to resend the old disc, as shipping costs from Taiwan would exceed the value of the product! :yahoo: They are going to resend the replacement free of charge to me (normally you need to pay for the product again, if you don't send it back). I have a free coaster now

:thanks: Amazon.

I must admit I don't buy much from Amazon due to the fact they're usually more expensive than any other online retailer, but they do get their customer service right.

Well, the main item I ordered from them was "The Wild Geese" (30th Anniversary Edition), which is sadly non-anamorphic, as some other retailers said it's OOP and they had it in stock (now I see DeepDiscount.com has it in stock too :slaphead:). I added a few other items to make the order worthwhile, trying to find stuff that wasn't heavily overpriced.

Sadly "the Wild Geese" is the damaged item, so I guess I am lucky I didn't receive their last copy.
