Phew, I really got hooked on this great Danish show from 2007. Started watching it the day before yesterday and finished season 1 (20 one-hour episodes) this afternoon. I think I'll get some movies in before I start watching Season 2. Although S2 is only 10 eps. So I guess I can do that in
two
days easy...

I haven't seen that. Is there a US version of that one? If so, I've seen previews, but haven't watched it. I have a friend that watched it.

Yes, there is a US version. From what I've read the storyline is somewhat different, but essentially the same type of story. It seems to be very well regarded with an 8.0 rating on IMDb.

From what I've heard about it here, it was popular.

Well, I haven't started watching season 2 yet. I'm holding out for days with really bad weather, so I can stay inside and do another marathon watch...

As for compairing it to Bron, I'd say so far I like Bron better, but only marginally. Both are really good.

Watched season 2. I'm a bit disappointed. I guess I had my expectations set too high. I was hoping it would be as good as the first season, but it wasn't, IMO. It wasn't bad. Far from it. But just not as good as I had hoped.

Well, i have to agree actually. I wouldnt say the season 2 is bad, but not as good as the first. And with fewer episodes. If you was a bit disappointed with season 2, dont have your expactations too high with season 3. I'm not saying season 3 is bad. (Because i dont think its bad) but not as good as the first season. But three great seasons nonetheless IMHO.
