Interesting parallel
« on: September 22, 2013, 09:46:35 PM »
OK, for you this is not going to be interesting at all, but I just wanted to write it anyway. ;)

I was just watching the second season christmas episode of The West Wing (2x10 Noël).

The main plot was that Josh had a PTSD attack due to the events in the season 2 opener.

Every time he was listening to music he was reminded of that fateful day.

Since it was christmas, the White House had a brass quintet playing the usual christmas music and a group of pagpipe players and at the end there were simple carolers singing and playing with tiny bells.

Well, I do not suffer from PTSD but listening to the music I could not but anticipate chaos breaking out as well.

Why? Because I've been watching too much Doctor Who and during the run of the Tenth Doctor every single time you saw a father christmas with a tuba you could count on him turning it into a projectile weapon of some sorts...
