Neeson and Grace are back!

Filming begins next week and Rade Sherbedgia is playing the bad guy and Famke Janssen has also been cast. Will be released October 2012.

Good casting choice in Sherbedgia, he's a very good character actor IMO. Look forward to this and first was a great movie.

Apparantly for some of the movie it is Neeson who has been taken and Maggie Grace has to get him back. Maggie Grace:

She doesn’t suddenly become La Femme Nikita. That would be unreasonable. She’s still a young woman. She’s drawn into taking a more active role because her parents are abducted and she has to help free them.

Hmmm, the word "parents" may mean the stepfather. Actors in action movies rarely have a full grasp of what their characters are doing...

It could include a step parent..her mother is remarried.  It would make more sense for her and her new husband to be taken than her and her ex-husband.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Plenty of conflict there with old dad having to rescue new dad and she probably gets more involved than she should. There was also a hint in another interview that they want to close off the story in this one, so read into that what you will. Maybe Neeson doesn't make it all the way through...

TBH, it's been close to release since I saw the original and I can't remember all the plot details. Realised I don't own it so just grabbed the DVD cheap from Amazon (they have it for £1.64 delivered for a used copy via Fulfillment by Amazon right now).
