Was going to be X-Men Origins: Wolverine 2, directed by Aranofsky.

Now to be The Wolverine directed by James Mangold.

Jackman stated in a radio interview with CTHI that shooting starts in October.

My thoughts on Origins after a recent viewing:

As far as comic book movies of the last ten years ago this was quite disappointing and I still feel that Wolverine is played without enough anger despite him always 'going out for revenge'. Wasn't keen on the special effects either but overall it is a watchable film and worth picking up cheap. Not as good as the actual X-Men films though (still need to see the third, I do own it). Rent it. 3/5
