Now through Cole's psychic connection with a group that includes an outlaw biker (John Amos of THE WEST WING), a traumatized cop (Jeffrey Combs of RE-ANIMATOR) and a mysterious healer (Dee Wallace of CUJO and THE HOWLING), vengeance is about to take a very unholy turn. My Thoughts:
This one was a blind buy. I did see the trailer online one day and thought it could be good... and it does have Charisma Carpenter in it... so thought I would check it out. I went into it not expecting a whole lot... so I can't really say I was disappointed. But I would say this is only an OK movie. I think the main problem I had with it is that they did not set it up properly from the beginning... it was directly into the action... and the back story was only touched on as they had to explain something. I did enjoy seeing Charisma Carpenter in a different role... but even her performance fell a little on the flat side. It just felt like she was going through the motions... and her heart just wasn't in it. I actually got that same feeling from most the people in the movie. There was some enjoyment value in the movie... but not enough to be able to recommend this one to anyone.... I would say skip it... but if you really want to check it out... wait and catch it on cable.
