New Mortal Kombat film?

....This trailer looks awesome.... its not even been confirmed as real... but I REALLY hope it is!




...Oh god  I so hope its real


...It just seems a little drastic to be fake.... you know?

That's very good. Jeri Ryan and Michael Jai White are hardly shabby to be associated with anything fake. One article I've read suggests it is either the film listed on IMDB for 2013 release, or a high profile trailer/tie-in for the next game.

It reminded me, oddly, of the superb Street Fighter 2 anime. Taken seriously and tons of fun.

Yeah... I thought maybe it was the 2013 thing... however :S they have been talking about that for at least 10 years.

:p I have a crack team of researchers working hard for me right now to find out if its real  ;)

Its been confirmed via twitter, by the actress playing Sonya Blade (her name escapes me) that this is a short film sent to studios in a hope that one will pick it up and make it feature length, all actors worked for free and as favors to the director
