How to denote a change if just using Modify
« on: January 27, 2013, 06:03:16 AM »
Sorry if the subject doesn't really speak to this ... here is the question.

There are 2 topics that are setup, 2013 Movies Watched and 2013 TV Episodes watched (and I understand this is setup each year) where you keep track of what you watch.  Just date, rating and name.

The problem is that when you make a 'modify' and add items it does not show up on the Home page nor do the sections (movies/tv) show as having anything new.

It would be nice if each year, that years topic could be a sticky at the top of the section and if the change could be noted on the home page etc.

Thoughts

Thank you
David

Unfortunately the forum software only shows the "new" button again when the last post in a thread is edited again.  :-[

One of the reasons why I don't maintain an overall lists in those threads, but simply post at the end of each month what I have watched that month.

I was just getting ready to post some new bits and it looks like DJ Doena made them 'sticky'.  There is now a pushpin in the title so that will help a lot keeping them at the top.  Would be nice to get the other notice but maybe in the future.  Now i am happy being able to find them easily.

Thanks
Thank you
