Where is the Halloween displays!?!?!  :P

Halloween is not much of a topic here, after all it's more of an irish/american thingy. The biggest sale on Halloween items I've ever seen was in a Wal-Mart store, but Wal-Mart has given up in Germany, the competition was to hard for them.

Some people try to make an effort but for me Halloween will always be the day where you hide a small brown alien under a ghost sheet.

;)

The candy and the costume are certainly in the shop like Walmart already? Me and my sister had bought the one for my niece in september last year. Don't worry the display will appear soon.

Both Walmarts here are starting to get Halloween stuff out.  Not much yet, especially in the one store that is doing remodeling.  The one store that is around every year in the mall here with Halloween stuff is open now.

I do put some decorations out.  I might get some new stuff this year..I'll see.

...and here I was thinking that traveling to Germany in early October will let me avoid the Christmas crap. Darn.

Halloween is a big deal in Buffalo. We have some of the greatest haunted houses in the US. Most of them are free and spend the entire year getting ready. There is even a real haunted house 2 blocks from where I live. The Lovejoy Museum even had a group come in with cameras and recorders, the Discovery Channel I think, to prove that it was fake. Surprisingly they actually recorded voices and strange goings on in the building. I think more people decorate for Halloween than any other holiday including Christmas!
