Topic: Casino Royale blu-ray

I wasn't too sure which forum suited this best, so apologies if it's in the wrong place.

I'm thinking of upgrading my copy of Casino Royale (the Daniel Craig one) to blu-ray, but have heard that the only uncut releases so far have been the Finnish, the Australian and maybe the German.
The Finnish is really expensive and the Australians never got the Deluxe release (only the single disc one) so I was wondering if anyone with the German release (preferably the Deluxe one) could confirm that it is indeed uncut.
The easiest way of telling is in the torture scene at the end, there's a bit where le Chiffre compliments Bond on his body, then drapes the rope over his shoulder and says "such a shame". If that's there, then it's uncut.

Well, well, I'd never heard that before. DVD Rewind seem to do a pretty thorough breakdown here. Basically it amounts to UK (a bit cut), US (cut to ribbons!), everywhere else uncut.

The UK Blu is a good price at the moment and there's no way I'd pay more just for a couple of "lingering shots" of Daniel Craig's torso...

While technically I have the Asian version I am fairly certain it's the same with the US disc

Well, I am confused now. I bought mine in Asia but it's basically the US release. I just watched it (heck, I just passed the critical scene and thought I check) and the scene northblocke mentioned is as described, including the bit with the compliment and "Such a waste". This is even the first Blu-ray release in the US... Should it, after all, be uncut, despite the PG-13 rating...? Or is the difference based in the words "waste" vs. "shame"?

If it's the US release, what about the other "cuts"? According to the link I posted before, the US has a lot more missing than just a tweak to the torture scene.

Upon my second reading today your link wasn't obvious enough.

While the torture scene seems the way northbloke described I do have the US PG-13 version which should have all the cuts described at DVD Compare.

I have no intent to upgrade to the R-rated version.
